Back in April, Kaitlin started the trend of five anonymous letters to people. I think I'll revisit them by posting five new letters to the same people along with a second set of five letters to different people.
Dear _______,
I'm not gonna lie, I'm just waiting for the day you walk out of my life and I'm hoping it comes soon. Something changed in the last year or so and I can't fucking stand you anymore.
Dear ____,
I was irritated in the last letter. Now I just know that leaving people behind is your style. I'm not complaining. When we talk it's still friendly and hauling you across the state left me with a girlfriend.
Dear ______,
We're not as close as we used to be, but I'm really happy that you're stable now. I just hope the boredom doesn't drive you back to the self-destruction you worked so hard to escape.
Dear ______,
Who knew something so incredible could come from an Uno game and some bored conversation in Thayer's lecture hall?
Dear _____,
Streetlight Manifesto still reminds me of you. We've both become kinda reclusive lately; maybe we should get out more.
The five new:
Dear _______,
You're so sad all the time these days, and the sibling urge to help conflicts with the fact that I have no time to do so. We need a concert.
Dear ______,
You've owed me money for quite some time, but you're finally starting to repay it. I don't hate you like I did, but you're getting cut out of my life the second I have that back.
Dear _____,
I can see the changes you've wrought on my personality every day, and I'm strangely unwilling to resist the tide of change. I usually hate change, and you're a hell of a change. You're the one exception. Ironically, this is one of the things I'd really rather not alter.
Dear ______,
I hope you're enjoying life in Louisville, and see that you really enjoy what you're there for. It's fortunate that I'm down there so often and get chances to run into you. You're exactly the sort of guy who learns about his city so he always knows when something is going on.
Dear _____,
It's weird getting to know you again, but always a pleasure to attend one of your myriad events. Amusingly, the last memory I have of our grade school days is listening to Q-102 in the middle of the night and you winning tickets to see some boy band or other.

If the letter I think is for me is actually mine. I totally agree.
And what's funny about this is that I was recently thinking about making a video with letters. It was a sensation on YouTube, and I was thinking about being way behind the times and make a letters video. I might make a revisit to the letters and simply post it on my blog and not on Youtube. *shrug* We'll see if I take anymore thought into it.
Backstreet Boys!
who would have known! But I couldn't wish it any other way!
Thanks!
the open letter bit is one new trend i despise. i ranted to james about it to the point i made myself late for work.
