Your Opinion, Please

Would you guys prefer that I live in Middletown? I mean, right now, the Florida job has one thing going for it and one thing only. It's in Florida. I like how they do the job, but I don't want a 7 quarter commitment. I like being in the thick of things, but I don't know that the first coop this company has done will serve me. Glass is interesting, but what I really want to get into is metals.

So gimme your opinion, yeah? Julie and Sarah have already.

I suppose it boils down to living in florida or being close to friends and family. Which is more important to you?

I kind of agree with Jimmy. But I'm going to say stay here.

You should go with the job that's going to be more beneficial to you academically. What will teach you more? Which one is more likely to look good on a resume and get you a good job?

Ahem, well. I am going to have a mixture of all of the comment previous to mine. Go out and meet new people, do something that can kick start your engineering career.
Florida: We all can get stickcam and have some chats. People can drive- Spring Break with Cameron! And you'll meet new people who will really influence you somehow (and you can get away from some of our nagging :P). And the music scene shouldn't be that bad. And the temperature will suit you perfectly.
Middletown: You're close to all of us. If there is something up, we're all just a drive away. And this is with steal, something you would much rather go into. Sure, it'll be cold, but I'll get you a little something to help you out... maybe.
All in all. After a while of thinking I will finally give you an answer. Go to Florida. Sure, it's glass and not steal, but it's something different and a great step forward in life. If you do go down, I'll miss you like hell, but I'll make sure to get my license and take a few other drivers and ride down south to see you every so often.
